ETEC Center South to Holly Insulator Replacement Project

Chain Electric will complete a capital project for ETEC on the Center South to Holly 138kV transmission line section, located between the cities of Center, Texas, and San Augustine, Texas. The primary objective of this project will be to replace 30+ year-old transmission insulators and inspect ETEC’s transmission assets and right of way.

Communities close to the project route include Center, Short, Choice, Neuville, Bland Lake, and San Augustine, Texas.

Chain Electric will have logos on all vehicles matching the labels below and will use equipment like bucket trucks, track buckets, and pickup trucks to complete the upgrade and inspection work.

Knight Engineering and Construction has been retained by ETEC for Engineering and Project Management Services for the job and will be on-site regularly.
