Vegetation Management

An essential part of delivering safe and reliable electric service to our members is maintaining transmission rights-of-way, which includes the property below and adjacent to East Texas Electric Cooperative's high-voltage transmission lines. Regular vegetation management helps reduce high maintenance and repair costs and prevents electrical clearance violations by providing access to the lines for routine inspections and upkeep. Tree trimming and mowing to control growth are vital for ensuring long-term grid reliability.
